5th and 6th grade students enjoy working on a special history project each year. This year’s project involved researching a country. Each student chose a country and then prepared a research paper and set up a display board with fun facts and artifacts from their country. The project climaxed with an afternoon in school set aside for each student to bring a food dish that is popular in their country and dress up in their country’s traditional clothing.
